HOSPITAL & HEALTHCARE: DAY ONE, SEPTEMBER 21, 2006 11:30 am – 12:15 pm

A Case for "Medical Device and Instrumentation Pedigree”
Mr. Sokol has researched and developed theoretical solutions to implement the pedigree model for medical devices. These solutions could save billions in liability exposure and save thousands of lives annually. There is a definite possibility that healthcare tools could potentially become the conduit for aggressive mutating viruses, exponentially contaminating and mortally infecting large populations. This presentation will review these solutions. Mr. Sokol’s work will be reviewed by the CDRH (FDA), NLOM, ECRI.,GMDN and HIMSS.

THIRD ANNUAL HEALTHCARE UNBOUND CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION

A Visionary Conference & Exhibition on the Convergence of Consumer & Healthcare Technologies
Special Focus on Remote Monitoring & Home Telehealth
July 17-18, 2006, Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Cambridge, Massachusetts

ABOUT THE THIRD ANNUAL HEALTHCARE UNBOUND CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION
Consumer health care technologies are driving opportunities to serve patients in new ways and in new settings. Forrester Research recently coined the term "Healthcare Unbound" to encompass the trends toward self-care, mobile care, and home care. More specifically, Forrester describes "Healthcare Unbound" as "technology in, on and around the body that frees care from formal institutions."

THE PROGRAM WILL HAVE A STRONG FOCUS ON THE USE OF REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING (RPM) /HOME TELEHEALTH / PERVASIVE COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR WELLNESS PROMOTION AND DISEASE MANAGEMENT.

Our Second Annual Healthcare Unbound Conference & Exhibition attracted 250 high-level attendees. We expect an even larger turnout at our 2006 event!

In addition to dramatically changing traditional health care delivery, "Healthcare Unbound" attracts a range of companies that previously have not been deeply involved in healthcare including consumer electronics, telecom, and information technology companies.
